This was such a lovely class to teach today and I This was such a lovely class to teach today and I always feel yin yoga or basically long stretching is so underrated because it’s not fast paced and playing into the business of todays modern life but because of that I personally feel it’s so much more valuable. Holding stretches for between 3-5 minutes helps to access and release deep connective tissues, like ligaments, tendons and fascia. This helps to calm your nervous system, keeps your joints mobile and less likely to become damaged as we age or have accidents. The benefits are huge and it’s also super relaxing and great to slowly help you create some internal space from the continuous streams of thoughts. Sourdough Salad Recipe You will need • Fresh Sourdough Salad Recipe You will need • Fresh eggs 2/3 depending how hungry you are • A loaf of Sourdough • Salad leaves • Beetroot relish (I made my own from the excess beetroots from the garden, a great way to preserve them before they go bad 😜) • Hummus - I went for turmeric as it’s good for inflammation • Soft crumbly cheese of your choice • Fresh tomatoes • 1/2 Avocado • Balsamic vinegar or glaze • Extra virgin olive oil • Salt & Pepper to taste It’s so quick, start of by toasting your sourdough, poach your eggs. Then spread the hummus on the sourdough and pile up the salad leaves, avocado, tomatoes, beetroot relish and cheese. Drizzle with balsamic and olive oil and season to taste.
